Every World Servants mission trip involves some element of construction. In order to fund the purchase of materials, each trip has a mandatory construction materials contribution. Domestic trips have a pricing structure that requires a separate amount for construction materials. International trips include the cost of construction materials in the participant fee.
Domestic trips: (All participants)
The minimum construction material contribution is $100 per participant. Children age 8 or under at the trip start date pay $50, half of the full construction contribution.
For example, at $100 per participant, a family of four with two children (ages 7 and 9) will spend $350 for construction materials.
The construction materials contribution is the minimum requirement for effective impact by the mission team. Everyone is encouraged to raise additional construction funds, if possible, which will broaden the impact of the work being done in the community you are serving! If you have an additional donation you would like to dedicate to the construction materials, please inform World Servants when registering for the trip.
Most international trips have the amount of materials contribution built into the price. On occasion an international trip with a special construction project may declare a separate construction amount. You will see it described separately when going through the registration process.
