Every World Servants trip involves some element of construction. In order to fund the purchase of materials, each trip has a mandatory construction materials donation.

Some trips include an amount for construction materials right in the participant fees.  Other trips have a pricing structure that indicates a separate amount for materials donations. This is calculated differently for groups or individual participants as follows.

Groups

In addition to your organization's participant fees, your group funds the materials for the construction projects at your mission location at a specified rate per number of participants you bring. (More participants means more construction work can get done.) 

For example, $500 for each set of five participants, means the donation will calculate as follows:

Individuals/Couples/Families

Personal registrants (individuals, couples or families) also fund the construction projects at a specified rate per participant.  A 50% reduction applies to children age 8 or under at the trip start date.

For example, the rate is $100 per participant, so a family of four with two children ages 7 and 9 needs to donate a minimum $350 for construction materials.

Important!

The amounts are a minimum requirement for effective impact by the mission team. You are encouraged to raise additional funds if possible to broaden the impact of your work for the community you are serving!

If you have funds to dedicate to the construction costs or want to pledge an additional amount of construction funding, you can do so when registering for the trip.
