A mission trip to Kenya offers an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of thousands while seeing your own life transformed in the process. With each short-term mission trip, World Servants comes alongside the people in our host community to address the prevalent needs while sharing the love of Jesus. Our teams have the opportunity to visit with Kenyans in their homes, to host Kids’ Club (VBS) at schools, and share stories of God at work in their own lives during church services.

Many Kenyans struggle on a daily basis to have basic needs for food, water, shelter, and medical attention met. The majority of the population living in rural Kenya are subsistence farmers and earn less than $1 a day. The World Servants mission in Kenya is focused on demonstrating the love of Christ by assisting the Kenyan church in several area

  • Building homes for children orphaned by the HIV/AIDS epidemic
  • Assisting with the construction of adequate medical facilities in rural areas
  • Providing potable water in arid areas, such as drilling boreholes, building sand dams and supplying holding tanks to capture water during the rainy season
  • Assisting in the education of children through building schools as well as the completion of a polytechnical college

Suvia Child Sponsorship Program

World Servants is thrilled to announce all 26 girls currently living at Suvia Children’s Home, located near Kali Market, Kenya, are being sponsored, but there is still room for several new girls in need of a loving, caring environment. It is our prayer to add several additional girls in the coming year, but we can only do so with the help of new sponsors

As new sponsors commit, we begin the selection process including personal interviews with potential orphans and their custodians/fampdfilies, health checks, and vetting by the local government. Upon the child’s admission to Suvia Children’s Home, a sponsorship packet including a profile of your sponsored girl will be provided. Learn about our Suvia Children’s Home orphanage project and how you can make a difference in the life of a child.
